Welcome, new Raiders cross country, basketball and volleyball coaches!




The following coaches are joining the Raiders Athletics Program:

Lee Shaw joins OCC as head coach for Raiders Men’s and Women’s Cross Country. He joins OCC from the University of Michigan-Dearborn where he founded and developed its cross-country program in 2011. He also coached at Marygrove College in Detroit and Siena Heights University in Adrian.  Shaw competed at National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and internationally. He is a former All-American scholarship athlete.


Jeffrey Stark joins OCC as the new women’s volleyball coach from Milford High School, where he was head volleyball coach. Stark coached  the A2 Volleyball Club, where he won a bronze medal in the 2013 Great Lakes Festival, a gold medal at the 2011 Premier Invitation Tournament, and a silver medal at the 2011 Michigan Juniors Volleyball Association Michigan State Championships. At the Premiere Volleyball Academy in Maumee, Ohio, Stark won a Gold medal in 2010 at the IVA Hoosier Invite and was a Bronze Bracket Champion at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Steve Ogg, a former OCC coach, is returning to the Raiders as head coach for the Lady Raider Basketball Program. Ogg served as assistant to the women’s basketball program from 1980 to 1983, before becoming head coach of OCC’s women’s softball program. Ogg also coached for Oakland University, where he led the women’s softball team to a first Division I win at the national tournament – a first as the OU program transitioned to Division I status. Ogg was also head coach for the Rochester College Women’s Softball program, where he led the team to a United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship in 2010.
